Frequently Asked Questions

What do I bring for boarding?

All we need is your dog and their pre- bagged food! You are welcome to bring your dogs bed, toys or bones. We do not need food or water bowls. Please keep in mind that we have limited space for extra belongings, so please limit extra items.

Please pre-bag food for each feeding with medications or supplements in the bag. Medication or food toppers administered outside of a meal will be an extra charge.

What are the check in procedures?

1- Humans check in WITHOUT their dogs (leave them in the car). We verify information for your reservation such as feeding amounts, add on services, and your return date.

2- Humans bring in the pups! We ask they are under control, and the leash is connected to a well fit collar-if on a retractable leash- the leash length is locked so you can maintain control of your dog.

3-You tell your pup "happy vacation" in the office and they are off to play and relax!

4-Dogs are taken straight to a play yard to potty and explore while we set their suite up. Due to this- you do NOT need to walk your dog around the property to potty beforehand. Please be mindful that dogs (boys we're looking at you) are not marking on the porch area or in the office.

5- We gather and document belongings, food, and medication from you then organize it in our designated areas and in your dogs suite while they are outside.

6- Your pup comes in and enjoys their stay, while you enjoy some time away!

Does my dog have to play with other dogs?

No! We do not expect all dogs to enjoy group play. We are happy to let them out alone, with their siblings, or leash walk them. This is left up to you as the owner and group play is allowed at our discretion of how they interact with others.

Are you all doing training?

At this time we are  only offering training on a limited basis to prior clients or dogs we have produced.

Can I come for a tour?

YES! Please call or text the office at 832-647-5331 to schedule a tour. We only do tours during business hours M-F. Tours are limited if the kennel is full as we try to keep it as stress-free as possible.  Humans welcome, please leave your pups at home for the tour.

What shots do you require?

DHPP and Rabies

Vaccines must current 10 days within your dogs stay with us. We will NOT allow dogs in the kennel that have received a Bordetella within 10 days of their stay. This increases the risk of respiratory illness we try hard to prevent.

Afraid you are over-vaccinating??

We are happy to accept Titer test performed within the last year.

Have a question or concern about a vaccine or frequency of it given- feel free to call or text and ask for Lauren!

Can my dogs room together?

YES! Depending on their weight and the number of dogs we have several options. Dogs that lodge together must be able to eat in the same room.
